Innovative in design and technically sophisticated, the stadium fuses together modernity and safety. Designed and constructed by Shenzhen residents, the sports ground builds on a steel structure with a suspended dome, the only one of its kind in the city. After the university games, the stadium will serve as a ground for badminton and volleyball games and gymnastics matches, and also a venue for large-scale meetings and shows.
Absen’s
LED displays will be used to show live games, scores, and additional information about competitions during the upcoming World University Games, helping enhance the interaction between audiences and athletes.
The project comprises two LED displays on both sides of the stand. Stretching over an area of 50m2, each display consists of a 35m2 full-color screen and a 15 m2 dual-color screen. Based on AI10, the full-color screen provides a dot pitch of 10mm with a density of 10,000 dots per square meter; the dual-color screen is based on Absen’s Ф5 display with a dot pitch of 7.62mm and a density of 17,222 dots per square meter. The two LED displays from Absen have been market-proven and highly regarded by customers.

The displays in the Pingshan Stadium feature high levels of contrast and luminance, bright colors, and strong color uniformity. They received wide plaudits from the stadium operator and constructor and breezed through the acceptance test by the Universiade’s organizing committee. The stadium’s LED displays were performing excellently during the test basketball matches in preparation for the World University Games.
At Absen, all employees are proud of the success and are ready to cheer for and contribute to the coming Universiade.
