Absen's senior managers and guests lay cornerstones for Huizhou Absen Industrial Park.

On June 5, 2011, over 30 senior managers from Absen traveled to Huizhou to attend the cornerstone-laying ceremony. At 11:11 am on June 6, 2011, Absen board chairman Ding Yanhui formally announced the commencement of the ceremony. He proceeded to give an impassioned speech, mentioning that Huizhou is a place renowned for producing great men; Absen engages in the promising LED industry; and Absen has many great partnerships and opportunities in Huizhou. He also commented that the Dragon Boat Festival – which also took place on June 6 (May 5 of the lunar calendar) - was an auspicious day for the ceremony. His concise speech was received with lengthy applauses and cheers.
Lu Weihang then gave a warm speech on behalf of the other guests, expressing congratulations to cornerstone laying of Huizhou Absen Industrial Park and wishing the company success in Huizhou.
Absen's senior managers and guests cut the ribbon, laid cornerstones, and wished each other success at the ceremony. A group photo rounded off the ceremony on a positive note, after which participants headed down to the Crowne Plaza Hotel to enjoy dinner and drinks.
To enlarge its production capabilities and expedite development, Absen launched the Huizhou LED Optoelectronic Project in March 2011. The cornerstone-laying ceremony marks the beginning of the construction of Huizhou Absen Industrial Park, which is planned to cover 200,000 m2.
